Escape

There is no way out of this maze. There is no door, no key and

no ending. There is only how long you can last.

Sixteen different monsters come looking for you, and every one

of them has its own idea about how to get you.

THE REAPER is blind. He hunts SOUND. Stand perfectly still and

he walks straight past you.

I SEE YOU only charges when he can actually SEE you. Put a wall

between you and he loses you completely.

EIGHTY WOOL huffs and puffs and blows the walls down. But knock

a BOING BOING into him and he turns round and fights for YOU.

THE DESTROYER chews through the maze. THE REWIRE builds it back

up again. They spend the whole game arguing about what shape

the level should be.

THE DUMB ONE is fast, flies over every wall, and never stops

talking. He is also, as the name suggests, an idiot.

Survive long enough and the maze DRAINS and becomes a pool.

Survive longer and the water boils away and you are in a

VOLCANO, where THE IDIOT can blast two hearts out of you in one

go and THE KRAKEN comes down off the walls.

Coins are all over the maze, and hitting things pays. Spend

them in the SHOP between runs on more hearts, more weapon slots

and better weapons - a SPECIAL BOARD that takes one hit for you

and shatters, a PICKAXE BOARD that takes three, a BOING BOING

MEME for jumping walls.

Works on a laptop, a phone and an iPad. It asks you which one

you are on the first time, and you can change it in SETTINGS.

The whole game is one file, so once it has loaded it keeps

playing even if the internet drops out.

HOW TO PLAY

  LAPTOP:  arrow keys or WASD to move, SPACE to hit,

           Q to swap weapon, E to build a wall, P to pause.

  PHONE / IPAD: hold anywhere on the left to walk,

           and use the buttons for everything else.

  There is a HOW TO PLAY button on the title screen with a

  page for each kind of device.
